Award-winning actor, director, and writer Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy) will join bestselling artist Pernille Ørum (DC Super Hero Girls) on the new story arc of Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.’s beloved Hit-Girl series this February from Image Comics in, Hit-Girl Season Two #1.

In this dream creative team’s spin on Hit-Girl, readers’ favorite adolescent assassin tears Tinsel Town a new one when she realizes her life’s being dramatized for the silver screen. Hit-Girl storms sets, wages war on fat-cat movie bosses, and lures old enemies out of hiding in this Californian bloodbath.

Kevin Smith remains a well-known Harvey Award-winning writer, with critical acclaim for his comics writing on Daredevil, Green Arrow, and numerous tie-in stories. His career success extends beyond the comics industry sphere with previous recognition at Sundance Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, and multiple Maverick Awards. And he is well-known for his movies, podcasts, and insightful opinions.

Ørum’s rich background in animation and experience with clients such as Disney, Warner Brothers, Mattel Playground, and Nickelodeon Jr. puts a bright, fresh spin on the artistic direction of Hit-Girl.

Hit-Girl Season Two will have three covers for it first issue – Cover A by Francesco Francavilla, Cover B B&W variant also by Francavilla, and Cover C by Conner (see below).
