Mirka Andolfo’s romantic dystopian sci-fi epic, Unnatural, continues in December

Acclaimed writer/artist Mirka Andolfo (Hex Wives, Harley Quinn, Wonder Woman, DC Comics Bombshells) will carry on her wildly romantic thriller series Unnatural, this December from Image Comics.

Unnatural is about an authoritarian government has a cheerful stranglehold on its citizens’ personal lives—in particular, how they love and whom they marry. But it seems there are some who resist…

The upcoming fifth issue of the fresh series begins a new story arc for the ongoing series, and Leslie’s on the run. Falsely accused of a heinous murder, she has no choice but to trust that mysteriously hooded wolf who’s been dogging her steps since the beginning. Who is he? What does he really want from her? And is he somehow related to that seductive lupine creature from those steamy dreams she’s been having?

Unnatural #5 will have several covers (featured below), with cover A by Mirka Andolfo, cover B by Tanino Liberatore, and cover C (Hero Initiative Variant) by Jacopo Camagni. Unnatural #6 will follow in early January with cover A by Mirka Andolfo, and cover B by Babs Tarr.

Unnatural #5 arrives in comic stores on Wednesday, December 5th. #6 is scheduled for Wednesday, January 2nd. For those looking to read the series in its trade paperback format, Unnatural, Volume One: Awakening is in comic stores and better retail bookstores now.
