Mark Millar unveils KINGSMAN variant cover art by Frank Quitely

Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, Reborn, Jupiter’s Legacy) recently revealed previously unseen Kingsman: The Red Diamond #1 comic cover variants by artist Frank Quitely (All-Star Superman, Batman & Robin).

Frank Quitely’s variants join covers by original Kingsman creator Dave Gibbons (Watchmen), Simon Fraser, and Rob Doyle to launch new series Kingsman: The Red Diamond from Image Comics on Wednesday, September 6th, in time for this summer’s movie sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, to hit cinemas.

The new series sees brand-new creative team Rob Williams (Suicide Squad) and British superstar Simon Fraser take the helm for an international spy adventure, one that kicks off where James Bond draws the line.

Hero Eggsy is still not-quite-Bond, still rough-around-the-edges, still trying to be the suave gentleman he was trained to be. We follow him on an international spy mission to save the world from The Red Diamond, a villain hell-bent on plunging society into chaos. Eggsy’s also up against the villain’s lethal hunchback henchman (hunchman?!) Ingot, and out to woo badass South African agent Kwaito while he’s at it. Cue riots, explosions, and plenty of old school Kingsman violence!

Kingsman: The Red Diamond is the comic sequel to Kingsman: The Secret Service, the critically acclaimed comic book series by Kick-Asswriter Mark Millar, Watchmen’s Dave Gibbons and director Matthew Vaughn.

Kingsman: The Red Diamond #1 will be available in stores on Wednesday, September 6th.
Also available that same day, all six issues of the original Kingsman: The Secret Service will be collected into a trade paperback and available from Image Comics.
